Curiosity:
- This rum was voted the 'Best Rum in the World 2020' and won the Spirit of the Year award.
- It's the first official premium rum to be released by the Jamaican estate, Worthy Park.
- The family-run Worthy Park Estate was established in 1670 and started producing rum as early as 1741.
History:
The Worthy Park Estate, established in 1670, has a rich history of rum production. Although it was a highly successful distillery, the glut of Jamaican rum after WW2 led to its cessation of production in the 1960s. However, the distillery was completely rebuilt in 2004 and has since been producing high-quality rums. The Single Estate Reserve is a testament to the estate's dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
